When was the last time that you bothered to think about your printer? Most people are only concerned that the page just prints!
However, if you are using an inkjet printer you are probably paying at least 13p per page if it has any colour items on the page, and many laser printers cost approximately 8p per page! But now you can buy an inkjet printer which can print a page for 3p per page! And print at just the same speed as a laser printer.
One of our clients is printing 2,500 pages each month, so let’s do a little bit of maths:-
At 13p per page
13p x 2500 = £325
Costs over 12 months
£325 x 12 = £3900
At 3p per page
3p x 2500 = £75
Cost over 12 months
£75 x 12 = £900
Savings over 12 months is approximately £3000!!!!!!
Yes, the printers from Epson and HP range from £150 for a straight network printer to £300 for a network multi-function printer which can print on both sides, wirelessly connect, scan and fax from your pc. So they are more expensive, but you can save a lot more than the price of the printer in a 12 month period if you print more than 125 pages each month.
